Puma by Hussein Chalayan

Turkish designer Hussein Chalayan has been working with PUMA as the brand’s creative director since 2008. Bridging the boundary between performance and fashion, the Puma by Hussein Chalayan collection combines Puma’s functionality and technical know-how with Chalayan’s creative direction. The collection is made up of key pieces of urban and sports-wear in a monochrome colour palette.

Chalayan’s continuous inspiration behind the collection is motion. The theme for Autumn/Winter 2011 is movement captured by cameras, resulting in clothing with sharp angles and geometric overlays, linear angles and twisted drapes.
