Manchester born Matthew Williamson graduated in 1994 from the prestigious design school Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. After gaining valuable experience working under Georgina Von Etzdorf at Marni and high street chain Monsoon, Williamson debuted his eponymous ready to wear label at London Fashion Week in 1996, presenting the now famous ‘Electric Angels’ collection.

Recently celebrating the labels first decade in fashion, Williamson, who had taken his runway show to New York, returned home to show his collection in London and further exhibited a back catalogue of intricate work in his home town of Manchester.

Instantly recognisable through their geometric patterning and exquisite bead work, Matthew Williamsons collections work boldly with colour whilst remaining feminine and flattering in spirit.
