Launching his eponymous collection for the first time in Paris in 2005, Giambattista Valli represents a modern day designer occupied solely with the invention of exquisite design, elegant structure, playful, feminine patterning and vivid hues.

Following a successful early career as art director at Ungaro, Giambattista Valli – of Italian heritage, utilised the celebrity clientele built during this time to catapult his beautifully crafted label into the public domain. Inspired continually by his travels to India, books, a passion Valli cites as being his ‘opium’ and 60’s legends Andy Warhol, Bianca Jagger as well as cult label Halston.

Giambattista Valli’s graceful yet often structured pieces have been worn by some of today’s most idolised and stylish celebrities including Sarah Jessica Parker, Mary-Kate Olsen and Penelope Cruz highlighting Valli as a modern fashion icon in the making.
