Fendi

Fendi Womenswear Collection

Steeped in Italian history, Fendi began life in Rome in 1925 as a small handbag retailer and furrier ran by young couple Edoardo and Adele Fendi. Noted for its attention to detail and exquisite quality, Fendi rose to acclaim and expanded rapidly, introducing the then unknown Parisian Karl Lagerfeld as creative director in 1966.

Under the supervision of Lagerfeld, Fendi shaped a fashion revolution, designing the famous ‘double F’ logo, introducing ready-to-wear in 1977 and transforming what was then known as a handbag. More recently, beneath the creative direction of Silvia Venturini-Fendi, Fendi has created some of the most iconic fashion statements of modern times with the celebrated Baguette, the Spy bag phenomenon of 2005 and later the B bag.

Used continuously throughout the on-screen life of adored style icon Carrie Bradshaw, Fendi bags, alongside the ready-to-wear, signify all that is celebrated and collectable in modern fashion, loved avidly by stylish women the world over.
