Chevignon Menswear Collection

Chevignon is a high-end French clothing brand, founded in 1979 by Guy Azoulay. Captivated by the air force lifestyle, Guy set about transforming his passion into clothing design. Creating new clothes out of old ones, he sold them in the small town of Avignon, France. His designs proved very popular, and he went on to open his first boutique in 1979 named after the pilot Charles Chevignon.

The Chevignon brand started out producing modern, customised versions of the “flights”; the down-filled jacket worn by US Air Force pilots in the 1950s. This then expanded into a range inspired by 1950s America, and is still renowned today for their unique interpretations of American retro style.

Re-launched for Autumn/Winter 2011, the Togs Unlimited collection features the iconic bomber jacket. Recognisable by the leather shoulder inserts, duck emblem and distressed finishing processes that have become Chevignon’s trademark, the down-filled jacket is an item for which the brand has become renowned.

The brand’s identity is based on modern values, expressing youth and technology. Chevignon consistently pursues its ambition to produce timeless products that combine both aesthetic and functionality.
