Established in 1996 in Stockholm, Sweden, Acne began life as a jeans brand offering one simplistic denim style that rapidly became adored by stylists the world over.

From this singular style of minimalist jeans, designed by current Creative Director Johnny Johansson, Acne launched its first  Acne Jeanscollection in 1998. Thoroughly Scandinavian in nature and design, Acne’s acronym and brand philosophy represents what remains at the heart of the brand… “Ambition to Create Novel Expressions”.

From this true denim heritage, Acne has evolved to into a brand whose menswear collection epitomizes effortless cool. Alongside jeans and jersey tees in the softest cotton mix, Johansson’s collection of casual chinos, sweaters and jackets naturally reflect the laid back ethos of the brand.
